About Us

Dance brought us together at a very young age. Training intensively and developing together in the studio, we forged a sisterhood that has withstood time. We learned to express ourselves through movement and push ourselves to new capacities. Alas wanderlust took hold, and a desire to seek our truths put us on separate paths. New York City was the place to once again intertwine our souls. The reconnection led to the revelation that, in our ever-changing and tumultuous worlds, we needed to be a constant in each other’s lives.

Yoga played a huge part in the shift that occurred in the relationships we had with our body-mind and each other. We dove deep into the practice, as well as other somatic schools, in an effort to cultivate a richer positive dialogue with our body-mind. After 2 years of not dancing, we felt comfortable returning to the integral part of us that we had put away. We began composing and performing again, with a special interest in exploring our long-lasting friendship through movement.

As we went back to this special place with greater awareness, we began to notice a difference in the quality of our interactions with our bodies and each other: it was kinder, sweeter and more compassionate. In developing a purer relationship with our body-mind, and experiencing the gratitude that inevitably flowed through us, the spark of loving service that we had always carried within us, burned even brighter. This empowered us to continue moving together, in dance and life, and gather all of our experiences and knowledge to form a collaboration geared towards sharing the beauty that is loving oneself.
