Iraimer Ruiz

Homegrown on the  beautiful west side of Puerto Rico, Iraimer is a dancer and yogi with an emblazoned passion for the ethereal qualities of nature, meaningful spiritual connection, movement as creative expression, and music as a trigger for corporal self expression. She has spent her life studying dance under the styles of Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, Contemporary Jazz and Hip-Hop. Trained by world renown educators such as Laura Alonso, Cheri Nobel, Mumy Badrena, David Needham and Rosemary Battista, Iraimer has performed in many productions such as Queen of the Flowers and Spanish Chocolate in the Nutcracker, Prayer in Coppelia and Acacia in Dracula among others.

After graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Iraimer was inspired to delve deep into different means for self-communication and exploration. Her love for the arts, cultural diversity and social traditions led her to New York City, where she completed her RYT 200hr certification at the Bhakti Center. Following the path of Bhakti, she intensively dedicated herself to the studies of yoga and the development of self-awareness and self-realization.

Originally trained as a dancer, she wants to expand her focus on building a positive dialogue between body, mind and soul. She hopes to be an inspiration for individuals to rise above their current state of conscious awareness so they may begin to experience higher states of appreciation by accessing the resources availble within.

Moving through a Vinyasa flow, Iraimer's classes are a combination of challenging yet nourishing poses where one can take a step back, relax and dive into the many layers of humanness.
